Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Andy Polansky is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Constituency Management Group (CMG), and oversees IPG’s specialty marketing firms across a variety of disciplines, including public relations, sports marketing, experiential marketing, brand consulting and digital and entertainment marketing. Global brands within CMG include Weber Shandwick, Golin, Octagon, Jack Morton, Current Global, DeVries Global, Rogers & Cowan and PMK*BNC, and FutureBrand, among others.
Andy also serves as Executive Chairman of Weber Shandwick, and was its CEO from 2012-2019.
A leader in the public relations and marketing service industries, Andy has delivered outstanding results for hundreds of companies around the globe. Under his direction as CEO, Weber Shandwick was a “Standout” Agency on the prestigious Ad Age Agency A-List in 2017 and 2018, and was named to Ad Age’s Best Places to Work list in 2019. Weber Shandwick was also PRWeek’s Global Agency of the Year four years in a row (2015 to 2018) and The Holmes Report’s Global Agency of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Andy has a deep passion for client service and collaboration. He led the development of Weber Shandwick’s Client Relationship Leader program, which was featured as a Harvard Business School case study.
Andy sits on the Board of Directors for The Ad Council and the Board of Trustees for the VNA Health Group, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit independent providers of home health, hospice and community-based care.
Prior to his roles with IPG, Andy was a municipal reporter for the Bucks County Courier Times in Levittown, PA, a business and feature writer for the Princeton Packet in Princeton, NJ, and a sportswriter at The Trentonian in Trenton, NJ.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and sits on the TCNJ Foundation Board of Directors.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Abby Gold is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Constituency Management Group and oversees the worldwide human resources function. She also assumes the role of Global Chief Talent Officer for Weber Shandwick. Abby has broad experience in the design and execution of human resources strategies and a proven record of accomplishments in building talent programs. Abby is a member of the executive management team, guiding the firm to a leading position in the industry.
Abby's focus is on fostering progressive performance management process and practice, effective management of compensation, implementation of best practices around diversity and inclusion and a proactive response to evolving business challenges.
She is responsible for the expansion, execution and support of HR programs and policies, including organization, training and development, talent planning and performance management, recruitment and diversity and inclusion.
Over the years, Abby has served in a human resources capacity for some of the world's largest communications and consumer products companies, including CBS, Estee Lauder, Merrill Lynch and Home Box Office.
Abby joined Weber Shandwick in 1997, and subsequently assumed responsibility for CMG as well. She has been instrumental in creating programs for work/life, performance management, and learning & development. She is ultimately accountable for the development, leadership and execution of a broad talent strategy for CMG and Weber Shandwick worldwide.
Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Oswego.
Chief Financial Officer
Christopher Carroll is responsible for the global financial organization and administrative strategy and policies for the Constituency Management Group (CMG), a wholly-owned segment of The Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE: IPG), one of the world's leading marketing communications company.
Additionally, Christopher Carroll is Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of the IPG since 2006. Mr. Carroll is a Senior Financial Executive with broad and expansive business experience spanning almost 25 years. Comprehensive in depth experience with running global financial organizations, regulatory reporting, complex transaction structuring, ERP implementation and control compliance, forecasting and budgeting, and business development, merger and acquisition transactions.
Prior to his IPG and CMG responsibilities, Mr. Carroll was Controller of the McCann WorldGroup the largest operating network of IPG. Prior to McCann, Mr. Carroll served as Chief Accounting Officer at Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Ayaya Communications and as Financial Vice President of Lucent Technologies. Mr. Carroll spent 10 years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in communications and technology.
Mr. Carroll is a member of the Board of Directors of the T. Howard Foundation and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in accounting and business law from the Saint Frances College in New York.
